 Legal Line with Bob PittmanBob Pittman originated and hosted Legal Line with Bob Pittman, a call-in legal advice radio talk show for CBS affiliate KIRO Radio in Seattle, Washington, “retiring” in 2008 after 17 years on the air. For his work on the air, Bob received the Consumer and the Law Journalism Award from the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, was honored by the Washington State Supreme Court in a special Court Resolution, and received the Excellence in Legal Journalism Award from the Washington State Bar Association. We thank the many thousands of listeners who tuned in to Legal Line to hear Bob demystify the law, translate the legalese and point people in the right direction with regard to their legal problems. Special thanks to "producer" Pete Jeming for believing in me enough to promote me and land the KIRO gig in the first place. Pete, you landed the whale and I rode it (gently) for 17 years! I released the whale and I made it safely back to shore. Bob founded LEGAL LINE EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION to continue his mission to provide legal education to the public. |
